Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.

Im a Pisces :

"Being the most spiritual and sensitive of all the signs doesn’t mean you’re a push-over. You are exceptionally intuitive and can sense exactly how people are feeling. Too many personalities can be overwhelming, so you thrive in smaller, more intimate, groups. Pisces are super passionate and can be very convincing - meaning you often get exactly what you want when it comes to your love life. You can’t bear people who are too laid back or too pushy (not that you’re at all picky!). If you’re off on a date you’ll want to go somewhere that has rich foods and plenty of wine in abundance – just watch out you don’t go overboard on the alcohol, you do love a good drink. A boat trip or a meal at a restaurant with a sea view would be your perfect date locations. If you don’t get enough sleep everyone will know about it so make sure you always get at least eight hours. When you’re not dreaming you love nothing better than to be near the water – sailing, swimming or just strolling along a sandy beach is your idea of heaven. If it’s not water related you would rather not waste energy on it so yoga and pilates are the ideal way for a Pisces to get fit.

You love pretty colours and feminine fabrics – you can’t get enough of the urban hippy look. Romance is key so try longer locks but if lengthy hair isn’t practical keep hair soft and opt for nude make-up and pale pink hues on the nails. Big eyes are a classic Pisces trait so ramp-up the volume of your lashes for extra impact. Make sure you keep your perfume light, anything water related will have you in your element in no time."

I dont know if this fits or not, you decide...

Day 05 - a time you thought about ending your own life.

Sorry I've missed a few days, my internet connection was down....

Yes I have had various low points in my life when you “think” your life is over because you feel so shit etc. But I never mean it, just at that time I “think” I do.

I love my life at the moment.

Its a fresh start, from the beginning.

So I don't think I'll be feeling like “ending my life” any time soon, if ever at all

Day 03 - Your views on drugs and alcohol.

Well personally I don't do either, Alcohol mostly due to the taste, and drugs because I don't see the point.
However most people around me drink and a fair few do drugs of some sort.
I guess that were I live there's not much else to do at weekends so getting off your face is the first choice for most people.
A few people I know smoke, and I hate it, most of them do it because they think it makes them look cool - it doesn't. They stink and it makes it horrible to be around them no matter how nice a person they are. I consider smoking to be the worst because it immediately affects everyone around you through passive smoking.
I know a couple of people who have tried drugs, but it doesn't really bother me... all the upsides seem to be cancelled out by the downsides and so long as they don't harm anyone else with their actions it's there own choice.
Obviously there are extreme situations created by drugs and alcohol, and these situations always end up having affects on others - this is what I am against, if someone chooses to do something to themselves then that is there own personal choice, but when it affects others it is wrong.

on a lighter note...

Day 02 - Where you’d like to be in 10 years.

So in 10 years I'll be 26,
I hope I've finished my education at Art School and Postgraduate at Central Saint Martins,
Working as a designer for a major fashion house like Chanel or YSL,
Living in London, Paris or New York,
Have an amazing, stylish and gorgeous boyfriend,
Have an awesome social life with a load of friends that I love to bits,
And have a generally amazing life.

I reckon that's where I'd like to be, but not where I will be unless things start to get significantly better...

yeah i know it's called 5 years time, but it's still a good song yeah?

"and there'l be love in the bodies of the elephants too.."

Day 01 - your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is

Very single at the moment.
I guess it's good, there's more freedom, I can flirt without feeling guilty.
But I tend to focus more on the downsides, I'm constantly worried about how I appear to guys and what they think of me, I'm very negative about my appearance and constantly looking for reasons for being single and just generally picking holes in my personality (which is partly why I decided to create this blog), I miss out on social things or feel awkward around couples, and of course the classic loneliness and feeling guilty for calling on my friends all the time.
I think that's enough, besides I need to get to bed now, up at 5am tomorrow.

Skirt Vintage, Denim Jacket Vintage, T-Shirt Uniqlo
I've had this skirt for ages but haven't worn it for a while, dragged it out of the closet today for a trip into town.

I went out mainly to get some new jeans and found the most perfect pair in Topshop : http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=true&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&categoryId=209753&parent_category_rn=208527&productId=1749444&langId=-1 but i haven't got the funds to spend £40 on a pair of jeans right now, so they will have to wait.

"I'm getting excited now"

Hey hey, have you heard the news?
H&M are collaborating with Lanvin! Yes its true, i know that im going to be waiting outside the Buchanan Street store when it comes out, and I doubt I'll be the only one.

Lanvin is the latest brand to collaborate with H&M, with previous collections designed by the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garcons and Jimmy Choo. In a new twist the Lanvin for H&M collection will be revealed to the world through a special film on the H&M website on November 2nd, I promise to keep you updated. The collection itself will go on sale November 23rd, so i expect there will be a few gorgeous party frocks ready for Christmas and hopefully some classic accessories to go with them.

“H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.” Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin.
